记者：老师您好，我是学院记者团采编部的干事，首先我在这里先代表学院记者团对您的到来表示最热烈的欢迎。老师，您能给我们简单的介绍一下堪培拉大学国际学生的情况吗？特别是中国留学生近几年在堪培拉大学的学习以及生活情况？

  Mike Ferguson: In University of Canberra, the international student is a very large group overall. There are students from more than 100 countries, including students from India, Vietnam, Indonesia and other countries, and Chinese students among， these students from all over the world， is a more outstanding group. International students studying at University of Canberra also reflect to us that in their daily learning life and communication with the outside world, they deeply experience the atmosphere and environment of internationalization.（在堪培拉大学中，留学生是一个非常庞大的整体。其中有来自100多个国家的留学生，包括印度、越南、印度尼西亚等国家的留学生，而中国的留学生这些来自世界各地的学生当中是一个比较出众的群体。就读堪培拉大学的中国国际生也向我们反映到，在他们日常的学习生活以及与外界的交流沟通中，都让他们深刻地体验到了国际化的氛围和环境。）

  记者：在很多人的眼中，堪培拉是一个很休闲自在的城市，而堪培拉大学在QS世界新兴大学排名前100名，请问，堪培拉大学是如何做到的呢？

  Lawrence Pratchett: Canberra, compared with other Australian cities, is a more intellectual and cultural place, such a regional city environment and Australia leisure lifestyle together will reach a state of balance. The city of Canberra is famous for its knowledge, so it has the power to attract the most intelligent people who can do better work and know how to enjoy life as well. People living in Canberra like to get together and talk about how to work and learn. So, when they talk about it, they can relax and gain knowledge and skills. It's undeniable that Canberra is a comfortable city, and people can work hard and study hard there, which is why people choose to stay in Canberra.(堪培拉与澳洲其他城市相比是一个更加重视知识和文化的地方，这样的一个区域城市环境与澳洲的休闲自在的生活方式组合在一起便达到了一个平衡的状态。堪培拉这个城市以注重知识而闻名，所以它有这个能力吸引最聪明，最智慧的人，而这些人能更好地做到劳逸结合。生活在堪培拉的人们喜欢聚在一起讨论如何去工作与学习。那么，他们在谈论的时候既可以得到放松，又能收获到知识与技能。不可否认，堪培拉是一座舒适的城市，但是人们在那里也可以努力工作、刻苦学习，这也是人们选择留在堪培拉的原因。)

  记者：在这边我想一个偏向现实化的问题，现在的中国企业在逐渐崛起，中国企业也开始重视中国传统文化，那么UC-HS中澳联合培养2+2国际班的特色以及就业竞争力体现在哪里？

  Lawrence Pratchett: UC’s teaching facilities and teacher qualifications and other aspects of the comprehensive strengths are obvious to everyone. We pay attention to the cultivation of students’professional skills at the same time. Also we offer students many opportunities to work in different environments, and try through this opportunity to increase students' experience.So our students can more truly appreciate the true meaning and significance of business in the classroom. Secondly, through our course, the international class can not only have Chinese enterprise experience, also can have the Australian business experience, compared to the China students, international students who are combined in two kinds of experience will have more advantages and competitiveness.(堪培拉大学的教学设施和教师资质等各方面综合实力都是大家有目共睹。其在注重培养学生的专业技能的同时，还会给学生们提供许多的在不同的环境下工作的机会，尝试通过这样的机会来增长学生们的经验，所以我们的学生在课堂上更能真正体会到“商学”的真正内涵和意义。其次，通过我们的课程，让国际班的同学不仅能够拥有中国企业的经验，也能拥有澳洲企业的经验，相比在中国就读的学生而言，国际班的同学们在两种经验相结合的前提下会更有优势和竞争力。)

  记者：堪培拉大学与华商教育集团的澳洲国际商学院在2017年也达成了合作办学本科层次的合作，能否介绍一下合作的具体情况呢？这样的合作在未来能给我们带来什么益处呢？

  Mike Ferguson: In the GBCA project, the Chinese business school is a friendly partner of University of Canberra, it can give Chinese students more choices and opportunities. We have built a special campus of Melbourne and set up scholarships to encourage Chinese students to come to our school for communication and study. We also hope to enrich the students' life through GBCA various courses, and improve their comprehensive ability.(在GBCA项目中华商学院是堪培拉大学友好的合作伙伴，它可以给华商学子多一个选择和机会。我们为其专门建设了墨尔本校区并且设立了奖学金，以此来鼓励华商的学子来到我们学校进行交流学习。我们也希望在通过GBCA各式各样的课程来丰富学生们的生活以及生活，提高他们自身的综合能力。)
